Hi, I'm Bella — the writer behind this blog and the author behind Bella Arden Rose.

I've been writing since I was fifteen. Not because someone told me to. Because I couldn't not. Those early stories are still tucked away somewhere — private, a little rough, mine. But the instinct that made them hasn't changed.

I studied psychology at university and quietly enrolled in every English class I could fit into the margins of my schedule. Both disciplines taught me the same thing: people want to be understood. That's what writing is, at its core. An attempt at translation.

My website holds everything about my work — book descriptions, release updates, what's coming next. But the blog is where I get to slow down and actually talk about the craft. How to write a character who lingers. How to build tension without rushing it. How to let a scene breathe, or ache, or land. If you're a romance reader who loves the behind-the-scenes, or a writer trying to find your footing — this is the space I made for that.
